Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Romero's Plumbing's website and plumbing services. By requesting service, requesting a quote, or engaging our technicians, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

1. Service Provision & Jurisdiction

Romero's Plumbing LLC is a licensed and insured plumbing contractor operating under the jurisdictions of Washington D.C., the State of Maryland, and the Commonwealth of Virginia. All work is performed in accordance with applicable local building and plumbing codes.

We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are deemed unsafe, hazardous, or fall outside of our licensed scope of work.

2. Estimates, Quotes, and Pricing

Any estimate provided over the phone, via email, or SMS is preliminary and based strictly on the information provided by the customer. Final pricing can only be determined after an on-site physical inspection by our licensed technicians. Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated in writing. In emergency situations, standard emergency dispatch fees may apply and will be communicated prior to dispatch.

3. Emergency Services & Liability Limitations

During emergency calls (such as active leaks or flooding), our primary objective is to mitigate immediate damage and secure the plumbing system.

• We are not responsible for pre-existing structural damage, water damage to flooring, drywall, or personal property resulting from the plumbing failure prior to our arrival.
• In cases where walls or ceilings must be opened to access faulty pipes, we are responsible for the plumbing repair only. Drywall repair, painting, and restorative work are the responsibility of the property owner unless explicitly stated in our contract.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless prior financing or net terms have been explicitly agreed upon in writing. We accept major credit cards, checks, and authorized digital payments. Overdue accounts may be subject to late fees as permitted by local laws in MD, VA, and DC.

5. Warranty

We stand by our craftsmanship. Romero's Plumbingprovides a limited warranty on labor for installations and repairs as outlined in your specific invoice. Parts and fixtures supplied by us are subject to their respective manufacturer's warranties. Clog removals and drain cleanings generally carry no warranty due to the nature of the service, unless a specific structural repair was performed.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the service is performed (Maryland, Virginia, or Washington D.C.), without regard to conflict of law principles.
